Yesterday, Sharna Burgess revealed she is dating someone new. The Dancing With the Stars choreographer didn’t say who the mystery man is, but claims the romance “feels different to all the rest of them.”

In October, a relationship rumor surfaced about Sharna Burgess and Jason Oppenheim from Selling Sunset. Speculations of romance began when they were photographed together. Shortly after, Jason shut down the allegations by stating that “nothing romantic” happened between him and Sharna. “We just went to lunch a couple of times,” Oppenheim added. As portrayed in the real estate reality show, Jason isn’t crazy about dating in general. Since then, Sharna has been laying low in the dating department... until recently. Earlier this week, Burgess opened up about a budding relationship.

On Monday, Sharna had an interview with Us Weekly. She revealed that she has found someone special after going on “so many social distancing dates." Burgess elaborated, “It’s been really awesome. I actually am not on the market anymore. But it’s very new and very, you know, it’s dating, essentially. No one’s calling us a relationship yet.” The DWTS pro said that dating amidst the coronavirus pandemic hasn’t been easy. During first and subsequent dates, Sharna said she would go to the park with “separate blankets” while “sitting six feet apart." The Australian dancer joked, “How funny would it be if I actually found the love of my life during a pandemic?”

Burgess added that she has become more private since she started dating her mystery man. “I thought that when I met someone, I would be like scream it from the mountain tops,” Sharna said during the interview. “And it’s actually, it’s almost the opposite. I want to hold it close to me for just as long as I can to stay in this space and just enjoy that human for as much as I can.” Burgess stated that she and her unknown beau are still in the early stages, but “it feels different to all the rest of them.” Apparently, they met through a mutual friend.

We’re dying to know who Sharna’s new man is, but we must respect the privacy of celebrities. Relationships are volatile and fragile in the beginning. It’s likely Burgess wants to be in an established place before revealing her new romance to the world. Hopefully, the Dancing With the Stars pro shares more details about her dating life soon!
