Tom Brady and Irina Shayk are no longer spending time together.

The pair — who were first linked in July — have gone their separate ways after their relationship “fizzled out," multiple sources tell PEOPLE. TMZ was first to report the news.

“Irina was very attracted to Tom. She liked dating him. It excited her," one source says. "They had fun traveling to see each other. In the end, it kind of just fizzled."

“They both keep having obligations, and it was getting more difficult to be in the same city at the same time," the source continues. "Irina has nothing but great things to say about Tom."

A second insider adds that “there's no drama” between Brady, 46, and Shayk, 37. “It just fizzled out,” the insider tells PEOPLE.

Brady and Shayk first met at billionaire art heir Joe Nahmad's wedding to model Madison Headrick in Sardinia, Italy, in June, according to a source.

Another insider told PEOPLE that Brady then invited Shayk to "fly out and meet up in Los Angeles” to spend time together after they first met.

The duo later sparked rumors of a romance in July after they were pictured getting close in a car following a night spent together.

A source told PEOPLE at the time that there was "a spark" between the former NFL star and model.

Later in August, PEOPLE confirmed that Brady and Shayk spent 48 hours “holed up” together during a stay at the Twenty Two Hotel in London, before they left separately in the early hours of the morning.

The last known outing between the two took place last month, when Shayk was spotted entering Brady’s apartment in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City.

News of Brady and Shayk's relationship status comes nearly a year after the athlete finalized his divorce from ex-wife Gisele Bündchen on Oct 28, 2022.

The pair, who began dating in 2006, share son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9. (Brady is also dad to son John "Jack" Edward Thomas with ex Bridget Moynahan.)

Shayk, meanwhile, shares daughter Lea, 6, with ex Bradley Cooper, whom she has remained on good terms with after they went their separate ways.

In August, the Russian model was seen with Cooper — who is now dating Gigi Hadid — on vacation in Italy.
