We all want to be in love and everyone enjoys the feeling of getting swept off their feet at the beginning of a relationship.

But, one psychologist has warned that going too fast at the beginning could be a huge red flag.

Psychologist Daniel Acon often shares professional tips on his TikTok account, thedanielacon.

The video attracted more than 600k views and garnered more than 56k likes.

The 25-year-old said this was the one dark psychological relationship secret that could save you years of suffering or even decades.

So if you’re currently dating and meeting new people, listen up because if they start asking for these things quickly, your relationship may be doomed.

He explained: “The next time you are dating someone and you start to notice that they start to talk about marriage or having kids really fast, you have to be extremely cautious.

“Because this could be the sign of a narcissist, oftentimes narcissists want to get married to you and have a kid with you really fast because at that point you are trapped.

“That’s when they really start showing who they really are and by that I mean there is going to be hell to pay.”

However, some users disagreed with Daniel and said they asked about these things early on as they didn’t want to waste their time.

One user said: “Sorry but I talk about marriage and kids 6 months into dating. I’m in my 30s and don’t have time to waste.”

“It’s better than someone wasting your time and not wanting marriage and a family.” Another user commented.

Daniel wrote in the comment section: “I said it could be a sign. It doesn’t mean everyone’s a narcissist. Relax guys.”

He further explained: “There’s a difference between wanting to know if someone wants to get married and someone who wants to get married to you after a month of knowing you.”

Whilst other users said it was great advice after experiencing exactly what Daniel warned of, “Yes, please be careful ladies. Been through it.” Wrote one woman

Another user commented: “Another red flag is they tell you they have no one in the world but you, only you so they guilt trip you to stay with them.”

A third person replied: “Facts… I experienced this, and I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.”
