Chris Harrison‘s latest Instagram post featuring “Bachelor” star Peter Weber and show producer Julie LaPlaca might have fueled even more conspiracy theories regarding the rumored pair.
Addressing the now-viral snap Tuesday on “Access,” the longtime “Bachelor” host, 48, said Weber and production “spend a lot of time together,” later weighing in on the 28-year-old pilot’s status with LaPlaca.
“I’ll just say this, it’s an intimate relationship,” Harrison said. You spend that much time together, we all get close. Sometimes those lines get blurred.”
Last week, Page Six obtained exclusive footage of Weber and LaPlaca at The Stonehaus Winery in Westlake Village, Calif., where they were joined by his mom, Barbara.
Three finalists remain on the show — model Hannah Ann Sluss, medical sales rep Victoria Fuller, and foster parent recruiter Madison Prewitt — and Harrison maintains Weber’s stint as “Bachelor” is his and his alone.
“The only rules are, Peter needs to have the best opportunity to find love, or whoever the ‘Bachelor’ or ‘Bachelorette’ is,” Harrison said. “If something were to mess that up, then we would try to step in, and we would help.”
In January, Weber posted a photo of his New Year’s celebrations at Carmine’s Italian Restaurant in New York, with LaPlaca in attendance, sending fans into a tizzy.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, ABC exec Rob Mills told the outlet, “Well, I hate to get in the way of a good rumor, so I’m not going to confirm or deny about whether he ends up with a producer! I don’t know how we’d ever top that though!”
With Season 24 of “The Bachelor” slated to wrap next month, fans can likely expect one of the most dramatic finales yet.
“The Bachelor” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
