It honestly feels like an entire lifetime has passed since Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk called their three-year relationship quits. Like, can you believe that was only June 2019? Me neither, but I digress. Ever since their breakup, both Bradley and Irina have been notoriously tight-lipped about their relationship—which, fair, TBH. But as of today, that has officially changed, because Irina actually went on the record to discuss her life post–Bradley breakup. It’s major!
Irina opened up in a cover story with British Vogue and revealed that since becoming single, life has been strange for her because she's still adjusting to a new normal. “Life without B is new ground,” she told the magazine. “It’s hard to find a balance between being a single mom and being a working woman and provider. Trust me, there are days I wake up and I’m like, Oh my God, I don’t know what to do, I’m falling apart.”
“I think in all good relationships, you bring your best and your worst—it’s just the nature of a human being,” Irina added. “Two great people don’t have to make a good couple. I think we’ve been very lucky to experience what we had with each other.”
The question you’ve likely been wondering: Is there any hope that Bradley and Irina will get back together??? Er, it doesn’t really seem like there is, but who knows. In the interview, Irina literally said she’s a lil hard-headed and tends to stick to her decisions...so the answer is probs no. “I have a strong personality and I definitely know what I want, and I think some men are scared of that,” she explained. “If somebody’s out of my life, they’re out of my life and I really cut all the ties, you know?”
So, uh...sorry if I crushed your dreams of a Bradley and Irina reunion, but hey—don’t be afraid to keep wishing on that shooting star just in case.
