Kendall Jenner is joining the leagues of celebrities who have discussed their sometimes-negative relationship with social media, calling it "addictive."

The model recently filmed another segment of Vogue's new series Open Minded to discuss how social media has impacted her life and her struggles with anxiety. "What's affected my anxiety the most is the amount of negativity that I see," Kendall shared. "I find that the more I'm looking at the screen, the more detached I feel with my own body or to what's happening right in front of me. My relationship with social media is a bit addictive right now, which I don't like and I'm not proud to say that, but I also feel like that's something that probably most of us can relate to."

The model also shared that she feels pressured to keep up her social accounts; she, like her sisters, is one of the most-followed people on Instagram. "I don't like that I feel the need to have social media in the first place. There really is no escaping it."

Kendall went on to say that the quick reaction people have to social media posts and moments is frustrating, especially when they don't know the full story of what's going on. "Something that boils my blood, that really frustrates me and I think upsets me the most is when it's someone claiming a false narrative for me," she explained. "The internet ... bases things off of such small moments with no context. They don't know the before or the after and they'll take that and run with it and then completely judge you off of this one little thing."

Kendall has been very open about her struggles with anxiety in the past, and told Dr. Jorge Partida, who joined her in the video, that she finds social media overwhelming. "I have moments of feeling like I'm breaking or feeling like I can't take it anymore ... it feels like I can never do anything right. Because of social media, everything is highlighted, everything is heightened whether good or bad. I feel most of my social media anxiety is actually more the overwhelmingness of it all."

In a previous Open Minded video, Kendall shared her first experiences with anxiety and how she navigates it today. “I think being overworked and being in the situation that I’m in now is kind of what set it out of control in a way,” she shared. “I’ve had times where I feel like I need to be rushed to the hospital because I think my heart’s failing, and I can’t breathe, and I need someone to help me. Sometimes I think I'm dying."

She is also not the only celebrity to question her relationship with social media. Selena Gomez told Vogue that she hasn't been on her own social in three years, and instead sends pictures to an assistant to post to Instagram and Twitter.
