Elordi and King reunited almost a full year after their breakup to shoot The Kissing Booth 2, the sequel to the film that sparked their love. The second movie keeps Noah and Elle apart for a lot of the film, which is purely accidental, as the book sees Noah attending college at Harvard while Elle is still in her senior year in Los Angeles. So their phone conversations and video chats were shot solo, as is the norm in movies.
There are, however, some intimate scenes between Noah and Elle, and King has said that, while they were awkward to shoot, it actually was fine. As she told the MOOD with Lauren Elizabeth podcast," I know what everyone wants to know, of course. It was crazy. It was a wild experience. But honestly...it was fine. It was good. I think for me because I am very much a frickin' huge fan of the Kissing Booth myself...so going back and doing that and making the sacrifice of what, obviously, everyone is thinking about and what I'm not outwardly addressing, but what I’m kind of on the sly addressing, making those sacrifices was totally worth it."
Their chemistry in The Kissing Booth 2 is still pretty adorable, even if they aren't together IRL anymore.
