Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting along and coparenting better than ever in the wake of their super contentious split, but apparently Brad's relationship with his eldest son Maddox isn't great. In fact, according to an Us Weekly source, it's "nonexistent."
“That relationship continues to be nonexistent,” a source told the magazine, explaining that Brad doesn't see Maddox, and also no longer speaks to his 16-year-old son Pax.
This echoes what sources told Us Weekly back in October 2019, saying that Maddox "hasn't been receptive" to reconnecting with Brad Pitt following an alleged incident on a private jet back in 2016. At the time, the source said that “With Maddox overseas [for college], Brad is also hopeful that Pax will also be interested in reconnecting without the influence of his older brother."
Clearly this hasn't been the case, but Brad does have a close relationship with his other children—and he and Angelia even live close to one another to facilitate coparenting. An Entertainment Weekly source recently said the couple are "finally in a place where they both want to work together to raise their kids,” and that “They chose to live close to one another so they could easily go back and forth with the kids.”
