As coach Brian Daboll continued to dismiss a reported rift with his defensive coordinator, Wink Martindale, the Giants’ executive tasked with keeping the entire operation on the same page said he sees no sign of any problems whatsoever.

“In the 22 months we’ve been here, it hasn’t changed,’’ general manager Joe Schoen said of the Daboll-Martindale relationship.

Prior to Sunday’s 10-7 Giants victory over the Patriots, a report by Fox Sports stated that Daboll and Martindale are in a “bad place’’ and that the tension between them is so high that it could lead to a parting of the ways after this season, or perhaps before the end of this season.

“Listen, there is always going to be noise,’’ Schoen said. “There is a lot of noise in this market. It is what it is. I know what we think inside those four walls and that’s what matters. I’ve got a great relationship with Wink. I don’t know where some of this stuff comes from.’’

Daboll, The Post previously reported, was not happy Martindale went public with strong criticism of safety Xavier McKinney after McKinney complained about a lack of communication with the defensive staff following the 30-6 loss in Las Vegas.

Daboll is all about limiting distractions and Martindale breathed new life into what was a dying controversy. It was not such a big deal, though, that Daboll saw the need to speak to Martindale about it.

A source told The Post there is the usual tension that arises inside the building when a team is losing but that Daboll and Martindale do not communicate any differently now than they did last season.

“Look, you’re in a competitive industry so the people you work with, you’ve got a lot of respect for,’’ Daboll said. “Everybody’s trying to get the same thing.’’

Daboll, when asked Monday, did not give any assurances that Martindale will be the defensive coordinator for the remainder of the season.

“We’re moving on here,’’ Daboll said.

As to his most recent interaction with Martindale, Daboll said, “I just met with Wink a little while ago. We had donuts.’’

Daboll presented Martindale with the game ball following the victory over the Patriots.

“Because we had another game of three turnovers and held them to seven points,’’ Daboll said.

Martindale, 60, has made no secret of his desire to become an NFL head coach.

After the Giants went 9-7-1 and won a playoff game last season, Martindale received one interview for a head coach position, speaking with the Colts about the opening that went to Shane Steichen, the former Eagles offensive coordinator.

It is certainly conceivable Martindale moves on from the Giants after this season.
