CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Relationships can be hard to maintain. But how hard is it to have a relationship with someone who has never been in a relationship before. Those kinds of people are known as relationship virgins.
There are some positive things when entering a relationship with someone who’s never been someone’s boyfriend or girlfriend. They don’t come with bad relationship baggage, children from previous relationships or messy exes.
A drawback to dating relationship virgins is the fact they don’t know how one works. Teaching them the ropes can take some time.
But experts say just because they’ve never had romantic relationships with anyone, you can look at the other relationships in their lives to get a sense of how they treat people and what matters to them.
