KENT– Kent State University has selected LEARFIELD Amplify for representation of its outbound sales team, as announced by Director of Athletics Randale L. Richmond. This dedicated team will work alongside and complement existing members of Kent State's staff to provide an even deeper level of support for fans and donors.
"We are excited to expand our partnership with LEARFIELD and to work with the Amplify team," Richmond said. "We look forward to working with them to elevate our ability to deliver a tremendous gameday experience for our student-athletes and fans."
As LEARFIELD is the multimedia rights holder for Kent State Athletics, Amplify's team will embed themselves in the athletic department and work closely with locally based Kent State Sports Properties to drive ticket sales and donation revenue. Together, the two units also will aim to boost corporate and group ticket sales, driving higher attendance for athletic events at Kent State.
"Randale has a dynamic vision for what Kent State Athletics can achieve, and we are thrilled to help support that vision," said LEARFIELD Amplify EVP Jake Bye. "We're excited about what we can accomplish together. Our goal is to provide outstanding customer service to existing stakeholders, as well as to develop unique strategies and initiatives to attract new fans."
